Phillip Komoali‘i Losalio Sr., 78, of Kealia died June 16 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Pahala, he was a retired bellman at the Royal Kona Resort, bellman and busboy at the former Kona Hilton Hotel, McCandless Ranch cowboy, coffee farmer, founding member of the Kona Rodeo Club, member of numerous Kona athletic organizations and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at Puka‘ana Congregational Church in Kealia. Memorial service at 10 a.m. Casual attire; flowers and lei welcome. Nolan Z. Yap, 58, of Wailuku, Maui, died July 11. Born in Hilo, he was a retired appliance repair business owner, assistant coach for the Maui High School judo team, organ transplant recipient, advocate and volunteer with the Hawaii Organ Transplant Support Group, and enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with family and friends.
